We got lucky for my last session of the year and got some beautiful snow coverage on these trees for this stunning maternity session 😍❄️
This tree farm was the one our dad-to-be grew up going to so it was a really cool full circle moment to take their maternity photos here as they prepare to grow their family 🥹

I’m going to be honest with you guys, one of the hardest parts of coming back from break is starting to post on socials again 😅 
My head is still filled with mashed potatoes where my brain should be post holiday season, and honestly!? It’s like a whole full time job coming up with creative captions and ideas 😅 anyone else feeling my struggle this week!?

One of the coolest things about offering branding photos is being able to connect with amazing local small businesses!
Kallie - the owner of @haven.hair.loft reached out to me to grab some photos of her in her stunning new studio space. She’s created a space that is warm, welcoming, and relaxing and I think it truly shows through these images! There’s nothing more Philly than doing your engagement session in Rittenhouse Square and having multiple people stop you - all with their own fun quirks.
The characters we ran into during this engagement session include:

• A man with his dog who clearly was wanting me to take a photo of his dog 
• A man with his dog, both adorning birds jerseys. He stopped Rebecca to ask if she “wanted an upgrade” in reference to Nick…we all laughed painfully and awkwardly until he went away
• A woman in a massive fur coat who just couldn’t fathom why Rebecca didn’t have a jacket on 
• A fabulous person with two small dogs who were wearing fur coats and pearl necklaces

And it wouldn’t be Philly if Rebecca didn’t run into a friend while we were shooting too! Philly has a special way of feeling so small in the moments you need it to and so weird 24/7 😂

Had such an amazing time with my talented small business friend @holliebbridal and her beautiful family during this stunning fall session 😍

The way the sun shines through the windows of the studio makes these newborn photos feel even more magical 🥹

This sweet family were my first ever clients when I moved to Philly 🥹 Being able to photograph them years later with their absolutely perfect daughter was such an amazing moment. Having clients that return to me and continue to trust me with their cherished moments isn’t something I for granted in the slightest 🫶🏼💖

It’s incredible being able to document your families growth over the years:  through moving to new places and adding on new family members. Each year brings something new and exciting to the table and it’s so special to be able to be a part of that journey.

How friggen dreamy are these!? Some of my favorite engagement sessions are where we just pick an area of town you love and just wander around! Exploring different spots you know and love and while I get inspired by new spots along the way! It always provides such a great array of variety of photos for you to use 🎞️

When your sides hurt from laughing by the end of a session >>>

Gotta spread some joy today so here are some playful toddler smiles to help brighten the mood ✨

I often get asked “how will I know when I should book my newborn session?” And my first response is to reach out to me as soon as you know you want to do newborn photos with me! 

With every newborn session I book I make sure parents know that we are setting a TENTATIVE date for the newborn session. We will pick a date within the first two weeks after your due date and use that as our tentative date. 

90% of the time that tentative date ends up working perfectly, but the other 10% of the time babies come early or late, or mama had a rough delivery and needs some time to recover! And all of that is perfectly normal and why we only reserve a date tentatively! We will keep in touch as your pregnancy progresses and once you have baby in your arms we can reevaluate our tentative date and see if we need to make any changes! 

Plus, when you’ve booked in advance you can utilize my newborn session guide and prepare in advance, giving yourself the best opportunity to have the most enjoyable experience during your session!

It never ceases to amaze me how much your little ones grow in between the time we do their newborn session and when I see them next 🥹
I did Jude’s newborn photos earlier this year and to see him again this fall and see his jump in growth over the year was so special to document!
